Louis Archuleta: GOP Taxes the Poor, Gives to the Rich

The GOP senators and representatives in Congress are trying to convince the public that all the woes of this country are the fault of President Obama. They are flat-out lying.
The reckless war in Iraq and tax cuts for the wealthy, plus deregulation of Wall Street have devastated our economy. This resulted in the Republican Recession and massive job losses. The corporate tax system has been rendered useless, as evidenced by 240 corporations paying ZERO taxes last year on hundreds of billions in profits. Remember how the oil companies raped the American public with their $4.00 a gallon prices in 2008, and how they did it again earlier this year, and how the GOP wouldn't tax the excess profits? By the way, we taxpayers are giving the oil companies $4 billion in tax subsidies!
How can this be right?
Now the GOP insists that Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid be slashed, with no tax increases for the rich, while holding the economy hostage in the deficit increase battle.
WHERE ARE THE JOBS that the Republicans ran on in 2010?
The GOP said jobs were the issue of 2010, and when elected to Congress the first item was to restrict abortions even more, yet they have not even talked about jobs stimulation, much less pass any legislation that could create jobs.
So now we are seeing the real Republican plan: TAX THE POOR, GIVE TO THE RICH!
