IDWC Meet & Greet

idwclogoThe Idaho Women’s Democratic Caucus is hosting a meet and greet for Bannock County. The IDWC plans to start having meetings and events to get more women involved in the party.

It will be held on March 22nd, at the Bannock County Democratic Party Headquarters located on Yellowstone Ave., from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. There will be refreshments available along with the chance to meet some outstanding women.

The IDWC is a forum for Idaho Democratic Women to focus on issues of concern, to increase involvement of women in the Democratic Party, to contribute to and to work for Democratic candidates, and to encourage and prepare more women to run for and be elected to public offices at all levels of government.

The IDWC is about party building. The IDWC believes a strong two-party system is crucial to the future of Idaho and the voice of women is important in achieving this goal.

BCD Pre-St. Patrick's Day Party

stpatricksadFolks, are you paying attention to the complete insanity being put forth as legislation by the Idaho GOP? If you want to do what you can to help reverse these heinous laws in the future, we absolutely must have more Democrats elected to the Idaho Legislature. One way all of you can help is by raising money for our candidates and our party in this critical election year.

One great way to do that is by attending the Bannock County Democrats' Pre-St. Patrick's Party this Friday, March 16th in Pocatello. The party will be inside the Union Hall at the Pocatello Labor Temple, 426 N. Arthur in Old Town Pocatello, and takes place from 6:00PM until 9:00PM. Admission is $10 per person, cash or check accepted, and we'll be serving homemade Irish foods and corned beef and cabbage. We'll be pouring $1 beers, specifically Irish Gold from Portneuf Valley Brewing in Poky, as well as $1 wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

For more info, contact us at 234-8908 or find us on Facebook.

See you this Friday night, and don't forget to wear green!
