Bannock County Democrats to host "Party with the Party" event on June 7

Bannock County Democrats' "Party with the Party" Potluck Picnic on June 7 Were you inspired by the energy and excitement of the Bannock County Democratic Caucus to get involved in the political process during this important election year? Or perhaps you even got elected as a delegate to the Idaho Democratic State Convention? Then this is your opportunity to come and hear about what the local Democratic Party is doing, meet lots of like-minded people, and get engaged! Please join the Bannock County Democrats for an evening of good food, good company, and good conversation. This "Party with the Party" will be an informal potluck picnic at the Upper Ross Park pavilion in Pocatello on Tuesday, June 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. Bring a main or side dish, an appetizer, or a dessert to share. Bannock County Democratic Party Central Committee Meeting -- Tuesday, May 24, 7pm

On Tuesday, May 24th, the Bannock County Democratic Party will be holding their regular monthly Central Committee meeting, beginning at 7:00 PM and ending shortly after 8:00 PM. Precinct Captains are reminded to attend, and all county Democrats are invited to attend and participate.

This event will be held at the party headquarters, located at 355 Yellowstone Ave., across the street from Mama Inez restaurant. Entrances are at the front and back of the building, with parking in back.

Attend the Central Committee meeting to get updated on what is happening with the party and our plans for the future, especially for this important election year. We look forward to seeing you there! Bannock County Democrats' Primary Election Watch Party -- Tues., May 17


WHERE: Bannock County Democratic Party Headquarters, 355 Yellowstone Avenue (across from Mama Inez restaurant)

WHO: All Democratic candidates, precinct captains, families, friends, and supporters

WHAT: Bring a dish to share (main, side, appetizer, or dessert) and join us for a fun evening of watching the primary election results come in! None of the Democratic candidates has a primary opponent, but we'll get to find out who our opponents from the other party will be. We'll also get to see how many votes our write-in candidate for State Representative Seat 28B, Louis Archuleta, receives to get on the November ballot!
URGENT: If you live in Legislative District 28, please write in Louis Archuleta for State Representative Seat 28B (he needs at least 50 votes)!

Candidates Forum in American Falls this Monday, May 9

The Greater American Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a candidate forum tonight, Monday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at The American Falls District Library (308 Roosevelt St. American Falls, ID).
Thirteen candidates from Power County and Legislative District 28 have committed to attending. Questions will be generated by those attending the forum.
This is a chance to have those running for office answer your questions.
Admission is free and refreshments have been graciously provided by The Ranch convenience store and catering of American Falls.

Legislative District 28 candidates to speak at Bannock County Democrats' Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday, May 11

Come and join the Bannock County Democrats for their Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday, May 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This month’s speakers will be Mike Saville, Steve Landon, and Louis Archuleta, Democratic legislative candidates for District 28.
Saville, of McCammon, is running for the Idaho Senate. His experience as a veteran and in business, community service, and financial services gives him the acumen to serve in the legislature and to find solutions for problems facing Idaho. Landon is running for State Representative Seat 28A and will use his time to take questions from the audience and discuss how he will address people's concerns. Archuleta, running for State Representative Seat 28B, will focus on common-sense governance and what good government does and can do for all people in our society.
Political Soup will be held at the Bannock County Democrats’ headquarters at 355 Yellowstone Ave in Pocatello (across from Mama Inez restaurant), with parking behind the building (please do not park alongside adjacent businesses). Lunch will be served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the program beginning at noon. A small donation is appreciated.
