School District #25 Trustee Jackie Cranor to speak at Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday, May 10

The public is invited to the Bannock County Democrats’ monthly Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday, May 10. This month, Jackie Cranor, Board of Trustees Chair and Trustee for Zone 1 of the Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25, will speak to the audience about her work on the board since 2009 and why she would like to continue to serve in this position. Jackie will provide important information about the board’s role, responsibilities, and significant accomplishments, as well as answer questions from the audience.

The trustees for zones 1, 2, and 5 are up for re-election this year on Tuesday, May 16 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Early walk-in voting began on May 1 and is available through May 12 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Bannock County Elections Office. Only voters who live in Zones 1, 2, and 5 are eligible to vote and, on Election Day, will do so at their regular polling places. A Trustee Zone Map can be found on the Bannock County Elections Office and School District 25 websites.

Political Soup is held at the Bannock County Democrats’ headquarters at 355 Yellowstone Ave in Pocatello (across the street from Mama Inez restaurant), with parking behind the building. Lunch will be served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the program beginning at noon. A small donation is appreciated.
