Central Committee Meeting on Tuesday, July 26

On Tuesday, July 26th, the Bannock County Democratic Party will be holding our scheduled monthly Central Committee meeting, beginning at 7:00 PM and ending shortly after 8:00 PM. Precinct Captains are reminded to attend, and all county Democrats are invited to attend and participate.

This event will be held at our headquarters, located at 355 Yellowstone Ave., across the street from Mama Inez restaurant. Entrances are at the front and back of the building, with parking in back.

We will be discussing the results of the summer picnic, the upcoming Richard Stallings Banquet and the staffing of the headquarters for the fall election season.

Bannock County Democrats & IDWC host Summer Picnic on July 14; Political Soup Luncheon on July 13 Cancelled

Come and join your fellow Democrats and meet the Democratic candidates at the 5th Annual Summer Picnic hosted by the Bannock County Democratic Party and the Idaho Democratic Women's Caucus on Thursday, July 14th, from 6 to 8 PM, at Portneuf Wellness Complex pavilion #3 in Pocatello. Our Hawaiian luau-themed picnic will have great Hawaiian food, beer, lots of good company, and exciting entertainment, including hula dancers and a raffle. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students, and $5 for children 13 and under; they can be purchased from our Democratic candidates or by contacting us at bannockdemocrats@gmail.com or 234-8908.

Tickets will also be available for purchase on Tuesday, July 12, from 4 to 6 PM at the Bannock County Democrats' headquarters, located at 355 Yellowstone Ave in Pocatello.
July's Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday the 13th has been cancelled and we encourage everyone to come to the picnic this month instead. We will resume our monthly Political Soup on Wednesday, August 10.

David H. Maguire to speak at Bannock County Democrats' Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday, June 8

Come and join the Bannock County Democrats for their Political Soup luncheon on Wednesday, June 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This month's speaker will be David H. Maguire, candidate for Idaho State Representative Seat 29A. He will discuss his candidacy and some of the key issues he plans to address in the state legislature. Maguire has 34 years of experience as a Pocatello trial attorney helping people to resolve their legal disputes, as well as a long history of community service. He would now like to use his experience and expertise to represent the citizens of Legislative District 29 in the State House.

Political Soup will be held at the Bannock County Democrats’ headquarters at 355 Yellowstone Ave in Pocatello (across from Mama Inez restaurant), with parking behind the building. Lunch will be served between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the program beginning at noon. A small donation is appreciated.

Bannock County Democrats to host "Party with the Party" event on June 7

Bannock County Democrats' "Party with the Party" Potluck Picnic on June 7 Were you inspired by the energy and excitement of the Bannock County Democratic Caucus to get involved in the political process during this important election year? Or perhaps you even got elected as a delegate to the Idaho Democratic State Convention? Then this is your opportunity to come and hear about what the local Democratic Party is doing, meet lots of like-minded people, and get engaged! Please join the Bannock County Democrats for an evening of good food, good company, and good conversation. Bannock County Democrats' Primary Election Watch Party -- Tues., May 17

WHEN: TUESDAY, MAY 17, STARTING AT 7:30 PM

WHERE: Bannock County Democratic Party Headquarters, 355 Yellowstone Avenue (across from Mama Inez restaurant)

WHO: All Democratic candidates, precinct captains, families, friends, and supporters

WHAT: Bring a dish to share (main, side, appetizer, or dessert) and join us for a fun evening of watching the primary election results come in! None of the Democratic candidates has a primary opponent, but we'll get to find out who our opponents from the other party will be. We'll also get to see how many votes our write-in candidate for State Representative Seat 28B, Louis Archuleta, receives to get on the November ballot!
URGENT: If you live in Legislative District 28, please write in Louis Archuleta for State Representative Seat 28B (he needs at least 50 votes)!
